In life we hope to accomplish our goals
To shoot for the brightest star
Hoping we succeed in all we do
And we truly go far.

We’ll always have some set backs
These automatically come with life
We have to maintain our balance
And fight for what we think is right.

There will be tears that we shed
Some happy and some sad
Only to make us stronger
And appreciate what we have.

The tears are a symbol of our love
Shows we have a caring heart
Life doesn’t promise to be a perfect haven
We have to realize this at the start.

So just try to shoot for the brightest star
Even if you have to stand on your tiptoes
No one else can do it for you
